Farmer-led reduction of food loss and waste for climate resilience in Desa Mekarwangi, West Bandung

Indonesia · Asia Pacific · Desa Mekarwangi, Lembang, Kabupaten Bandung Barat
About this project

Farmers in Desa Mekarwangi are facing rising temperatures, changing rainfall, floods, and plant diseases. Many crops are damaged, and nearly half of the community is still struggling with poverty. This project helps farmers become more resilient to climate change by improving how they grow, handle, and sell their produce - building on the existing BIKI Point support from the TSJL program with PLN. It focuses on 3 things: 1. Better farming practices (before harvest).
