Community-Based Green Retrofit and Healthy Housing Adaptation for Climate Resilience in Coastal Settlement of Kuala Simpang Ulim, East Aceh, Indonesia

Indonesia · Asia Pacific · Kuala Simpang Ulim, East Aceh Regency, Aceh
About this project

This project helps coastal communities in Kuala Simpang Ulim make their homes safer and more comfortable as the climate gets hotter and sea levels rise. Instead of building new houses, it improves existing ones using simple, low-cost changes like: better ventilation, reflective roofs to reduce heat, more natural light, added plants for cooling, improved sanitation.
