Community Adaptation and Resilience Enhancement in the Marikina Watershed (CARE-MWS)

Philippines · Asia Pacific · Marikina Watershed, Rizal. Specifically Antipolo and Montalban
About this project

The project supports the National Climate Change Action Plan and the National Adaptation Plan, which prioritize ecosystem-based adaptation and community resilience. By linking CSR-funded reforestation with disaster preparedness and food security initiatives, it complements the Marikina River Basin Flood Risk Management Master Plan. PBSP's convening role mobilizes public, private, and community actors in an integrated model that strengthens inclusive, locally led climate adaptation in one of the country's most at-risk watersheds.
