Agap-AI (Anticipate AI): A Community Level Predictive Flood Risk Mapping System
Philippines · Asia Pacific · Rizal and Catanduanes
About this project
The project addresses the pervasive threat of severe urban flooding, amplified by climate change, to which the Philippines is highly susceptible due to its geographical and hydrological characteristics. It moves beyond reactive response to proactive, data-driven adaptation by transforming generalized hazard maps into a predictive, site-specific risk assessment platform. This provides LGUs with the essential intelligence for smarter urban planning and guiding flood mitigation projects.
