IOM's Climate Mobility Innovation Lab turns climate mobility foresight into adaptation investment, connecting evidence to funding to bankable adaptation pipelines.
CMIL anticipates climate mobility and enables local action. From risk intelligence to locally-led catalytic finance to investable pipelines, IOM's Climate Offer translates displacement risk data into funded, locally-led and larger scale adaptation projects.
Operating across three regions through Regional Labs in Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Mediterranean, CMIL co-creates solutions with governments, academia, and communities. Every intervention is grounded in RICD data and designed to prevent displacement before it happens.
CMIL is forward-looking adaptation and preparedness infrastructure, helping communities and governments act before displacement occurs and linking climate mobility investments to capital and national planning processes.
CMIL's core team and regional leads, building the infrastructure between risk intelligence and adaptation finance.
